Ethiopian and Eritrean shot and killed about 182 civilians in Kola Temben (Abi Adi & surroundings).
Deutsche Welle interviewed a witness who fled to Mekelle. He stated that at least 45 people were killed in the city by Ethiopian forces. In the New York Times, an aid worker and 2 witnesses spoke of attacks on civilians in the aftermath of a battle around the town. The Telegraph interviewed survivors and family members of victims. In total they estimate that over 186 people have died in Abi Adi and the surrounding villages of Kola Tembien.
